Moving Forward!!

Hi y'all!!! It's been a while since I have been able to sit down and give an update, thank you for being patient, yet again... I am so excited to give this update!!!

First, our profile is COMPLETE!!!  And being processed right now... well, actually according to Shutterfly it's being shipped and should be delivered within the next few days!!!  Thank you Jesus!!!  The profile was a long and educational process... fun because I was able to look back over the past 7 years of marriage and 12 years together with my husband and reflect on all the wonderful memories we have created and the life we are building together... It was incredible... But hard because I had to fit 12 years into a single book and not make it overwhelming for a birth mom.  I want her to know everything about us, but to narrow it down, make it simple and give her the "best picture" of us, well, took a lot of time and emotion.  But, like all good things, it's complete and will very soon be placed (physically) in the Lord's hands.  To show it to that very special woman, who has that very blessed baby, who is intended for us!!! Thank you Lord!!!:)

Secondly, our puzzle fundraiser is nearly done, we have only 80 pieces left!!!  It's so close, exciting to see it progress and take form, thank you all for helping us get this far!!  Keep spreading the news, let's finish as strong as we started!! Once our profile is turned in, we have to pay $9,000 to Bethany to move forward, so these last few pieces mean so much for that movement.

And thirdly, we are planning another fundraiser for those in the Huntsville area, we are planning a "Pack the House Night".  This simply will be: a give day in September (date to be determined soon), we will be asking all of our friends to come support us and collect as many others they know, to eat at a specific restaurant (location to be announced soon).  That's it, come, eat, and enjoy... the restaurant will then donate a specific amount of all proceeds from that day, to our adoption.  More information to come... stay tuned!!
